Hi,

I have hosted in shared enviornment. I want to show RSS feed s of the other website on my web site. But i cant access due to medium trust level. how can i resolve this issue in the same enviourment.

Thanks for pointing this out -- I have updated the text in the initial post to explain that a number of people didn't implement partial trust in ASP.NET 1.1 because of a limitiation with enabling oleDB in partial trust. Thanks

"In ASP.NET 1.1 you could only choose from a pre-defined list of trust levels. " - this statement is incorrect, you can define your own trust policies in 1.1 just as you can in 2.0. Many hosts already do this to provide sufficent permission for RSS feeds to access external resources.
