The Avalon.Graphics key doesn't exist by default, you have to create it.

I have VM Ware Fusion 3.0. I don't see Avalon.Graphics in my registry. But I am experiencing the same choppyness. What do I do?

Worked for me as well. However, it doesn't work if you have the "/3GB" switch in your boot.ini as I did. Worked great after I removed the param from boot.ini and rebooted. Be sure to make that change in case you were running with the "/3GB" option.

A Netgear router problem (I think) Suddenly I could not receive any signal from my own personal network to any of my other PCs. I did recieve weak signals from neighbors networks and was able to connect to internet through them but it failed frequently due to weak signal. My central PC connects through ethernet, and router is attached. Suggestions?
