Thank you. Its working on windows7. After typing the below command in run window, it asks for password. Once we enter the password, MMS will open, there we can type in the server name and connect with our own windows authentication. It works.

runas /netonly /user:DOMAIN\USERNAME "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\Ssms.exe"

Hopefully no one else has cause to install VS2008 in 2011, but just in case...

I was also getting the "the system cannot find the file specified" error. The thing that fixed it for me was unplugging my external hard drive. (!) It was trying to extract some files to my external drive, and failing. (Maybe Bitlocker's fault?)

First is supposed to return only one record. Can you elaborate a bit more on your problem?

i am facing one problem with the first.

the result set has so many records.

If i use the first it is returning only some records.

How to get all the records?
