Cutest picture ever! I hope Crusier didn't push Woz into the pool...
Great little interview, too. Woz signed my Apple II back at CMU in Spring 2002 when he gave a talk there. Looks like he has an autobiography coming out -- I wonder if we could get him to do a book signing party at the Computer History Museum...
This was my favorite line from the
WTC awards ceremony last night, said by Jennie Mather, one of the keynotes last night. I have to say, this line epitomizes the need to trust and have faith in yourself and your dreams. Every idea, every product created, has always had it's naysayers, and always will. Thankfully most of those same products and ideas have supporters too! Align yourself with the right supporters and make your own dreams come true!
On Saturday night, Cartoon Network aired what was one of the most fabulous, timeless pieces of animation I've ever seen --
Laputa, The Castle in the Sky.
Laputa captured many forms of the human condition -- greed, love, adventure, fundamental goodness of heart in some people, fundamental evil of heart in others -- all captured in a magical journey that feels like another world, yet with many similar problems to the world we live in. I absolutely loved the movie, as it touched me on all levels!
