&lt;p&gt;session is maintain for every visitor of your website, it doesn't metter that user is authenticated or not. You can manage Session using Session object e.g Session[&amp;quot;key&amp;quot;]= objValue;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How can i maintain security trimings?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dod you wanna ask how to authenticate user if you are not usign asp.net membership provider? if yes then, you can authenticate user with your custom code( as i did in my article) and after sucessfully atuhentication you can genrate authentication token using FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage() Or FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(), Please see the artcile for more detail.&lt;/p&gt;
