Agent Smith for Resharper

Recently I started using a plug-in for  ReSharper: Agent Smith. Although its pretty old tool but somehow there was no solid requirement for using it, so I never tried it.

It looks very powerful and useful tool; for the start we are majorly using it’s spell checker feature; one major benefit of using it instead of other spell checkers is that it is compatible with the ReSharper Settings Manager and thus sharing ignored words across team becomes easier. Another benefit is that we can easily control the supported abbreviations, exceptions etc. throughout all projects.

Another useful feature I will look forward to use is creating custom Naming Convention Settings based on types, quite a few comes out of the box too (which can be disabled if required).

e.g. of spell checker warning:

If you are already  using Resharper Settings Manager then you just need to update the ReSharper settings file and then just installing this plug-in is required to get started.
