GeoRss came out and only people working with GIS started using it. That's what I thought, a month ago I allowed people to subscribe to my blog using GeoRSS and many did.
Now you can read my blog and will let you know the location where the blog is talking about. Every week more people are subscribing using GeoRSS, still not as many as using RSS. However any RSS reader can read GeoRSS as will ignore the unknown tags by the reader, so when Google Reader or Gator start using GeoRSS you'll inherit the functionality for free.
So, please go ahead and click this link with your Internet Explorer, you'll see the feed in RSS, even when is GeoRSS, if you view the source, you'll see the difference. On the feed, you'll find Points, Lines and Polygons included to a geographic location.
For the people already subscribe to my GeoRSS, please let me know if you are using google maps to read my blog or other viewer.
