This weekend I thought to play with Azure a little bit more, I had previously a good experience using Visual Studio 2008 Azure SDK and Tools, yet this weekend my VS2008 couldn’t open my previously create project as well a chain or error started firing after 10 minutes into the development of a new Windows Azure project.
We need to understand that is a beta code that I am using, so I cannot be annoyed at the results, as is not expected to work at the first release, I’m just documenting the error to provide feedback.
The debugging error when trying to debug the Cloud application, I check that my development storage was running as well I check the development factory without any success.
A JScript exception happened as well and stopped my VS2008 and became non responsive. Weird as they wasn’t any JScript in the solution.
“Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio CTP, There is an error attaching the debugger to the role ….”
And then and just then, the problem that could not be fixed! Time to reboot and next uninstalled.
Just a bad weekend with pre release software.
