Telligent is releasing, again, a new product to the social market. An intranet application to join your work force. A way to collaborate inside a company with all the social network tools without leaving your network.

It seems to me like a replacement for Sharepoint that will import all the existing data first. So all the functionality of sharepoint with the new “social” interfaces that people are using. I’m very interested in this product, yet be aware that even that Telligent shows a button to “download” a free trial, the download will never start, instead, you’ll be require to enter you information for a sales person.
I’ll keep an eye on this product to see when there is an actual download or a sample website to play with it.
