Kudos to Jeffrey or Implementing the CLR Asynchronous Programming Model
Recently, I need to develop APM in my silverlight application. After rather long search through internet information garbage, I found wonderful article written by Jeffery Richter "Implementing the CLR Asynchronous Programming Model". Article is written for .NET, but code is 100% reusable in Silverlight.
