Introduction
Hello everybody, this is my first post on this blog and it`s a special post. This post is to talk about a big event that will occurs in more than 10 places here in Brazil.
This is the second year that this event occurs and it grows exponentially year by year. This event is an initiative of the Brazilian MVPs Rodrigo Kono and Bruno Kenj, so I `m very thankful to they.
The concerns to reduce the impact to the planet caused by the use of technologies resources are summarized on the Green IT termination. More than just reduce the aggression; the Green IT proposes to use the technology as an ally in this fight for a sustainable environment.
The Eco Developers deals the theme giving practice samples of simple implementations related to best practices to reach the Green IT.

What is my role?
Well, I`ll start my lectures around the Brazil cities relating ASP.NET MVC with Green IT. I had to confess that this was a challenge for me, because I could not realize how can I connect ASP.NET MVC with Green IT. So the way was to show how can we build reports with ASP.NET MVC, using the new features of ASP.NET MVC 3 Beta 1 (Charts Razor View Engine and etc.).
So, I build all my lectures above these concepts and as soon as I translate it to English I `ll share it here.
Summarizing, my role here is to concern people about the environment and how can we reduce a lot of impact on the environment just not printing our reports and in the same way try to show the people how easy and clean is work with ASP.NET MVC.
What is your role?
No one can change the world alone, but we all together can! Share everything you learned on these events with your IT colleagues, start taking some minimal changes as turn off your computer when you leave your office, and this will result on a next step, and these minimal things can reduce the energy consumption.
About ASP.NET MVC and Green IT
Here are the details of my next lectures on the EcoDevelopers events.
