Retina.NET approaching ALPHA 3

Tags: ORM

Hi to everybody!

I'm very glad to announce that the ALPHA 3 milestone for Retina.NET (my own free, open source OR/M library for .NET) is near to completion. Code is closed and i'm finishing details in the installer package and some other cosmetic issues.

This new version includes more bugs fixed, ASP.NET support, better config files support, more samples and documentation are included as well. I want to specially point that this version includes a modified version of the IbuySpy Sample Portal (from Microsoft) ported to use Retina.NET as data access component, so this application gains inmediate support for every database supported by Retina.NET (at the moment they are: MS Access, MS SQL, Oracle, MySql and PostgreSql).

I want to point also that the Alejandria Project (a library management software made by Carlos Peix from the Microsoft Users Group Argentina) is advancing very steady and maybe a release is not far away. i want to thank Carlos for his support and patience hunting down some Retina.NET bugs.

Best regards,
