On december 1st, the community leads and MVPs from hyderabad had an opportunity to chat with Somasegar, Vice president, DevDiv, Microsoft. I was also a part of it. He was accompanied with Paramesh, GM, Dev Tools and Purushottam , Program Manager , VSTS Team
We discussed on the vision and roadmap for next generation product line from Micrsoft, the community interactions with Microsoft , the VS 2005 and SQL 2005 product feedbacks.
After this meeting, i could also have a long discussion during tea time with Purush on VSTS roadmap, plan and the product features.
It was a very useful meeting indeed!

I really had a nice time with this BOT yesterday. This is 5 months 12 days old now.
The next two months would be the launch season. And in Hyderabad we have planned to have the Community Launch on Jan 7th and 8th. We would also have TechFest 2006 on the same day.
As a pre-launch preparation, at Hyderabad we have already started giving people the idea of what the launch would have and what are the things they would enjoy.
Last week we did a User Group meet and gave them an idea of the launch. I also did a session on SQLServer 2005 T-SQL Enhancements on the same day and Janakiram did a session on WWF. People have given good feedback and some suggestions too.
Some have given their feedback in DNUG Site . I really appreciate the UG members who care to give feedback pro-actively and not wait for a feedback form :)
This Saturday, MUGH would be doing a Hands on lab in ASP.NET 2.0 at MS Campus. Mr Janakiram , Developer Evangelist from Microsoft, would be doing this session.
Lot more planned and lot more to come..
