It's was really nice to recall how myself along with Veer, Vish, Ramki, Sudhakar and Tameem had worked on this idea of SQLCON 2 yrs back.
Second good reason for today being speacial is, i also got an award from my company for Professional Excellence in my unit... 'Star Award 2006 For Professional Excellence'..:)
If i say MUGH Rocked!, it would be too small a word to express the community launch. It's something beyond that..and i don't have words to express it.
The community launch happened on Feb 4th. More than 450 developers attended this event. And the kind of passion and interest they should during the event was extremely impressive and encouraging. They helped us to make the day lively by asking very intelligent queries and being open for discussions.
We started of with the prize distribution to TechFest winners and a presentaion on MUGH by Umesh. While Arun and Pratap gave the sessions on VS 2005, Myself and Mark D'Souza were on the SQLServer 2005.
It was a really a great and memorable experience for me as a speaker:)
The quiz conducted by Sudhakar and Tameem were very intersting and many could win some nice T-Shirts.
MUGH core team made it again after Devcon!!! And i must thank for the support provided by the sponserers as well.

One bad part was we had to ask around 200 people to return back as they had come late and by that time we were short of space in the rooms. Anyways not a problem, they can see many more of sch events in MUGH in future as well :)
