Back to the world of blogging
It took more than a month to make a second post in this new blog!! I never expected this. Really, had a hectic schedule during those days. Now, I'm back and made up to mind to be active and blog regularly :). A lot of important events and interesting things happened during the past two months. Let me share some of those here.
First and foremost, my trip to Microsoft Redmond during the last week of February. It was really like a dream. It went there to help with Item selection for .Net 3.5 certifications. It went on for three days and I was the only guy from India. Some of the other folks who attended the session either with some organization or Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT). After finishing the session at Microsoft I went to my Uncle's house in Dallas and then to Austin. These are unforgettable days forever in my life. One more interesting fact regarding this trip was my U.S Visa. One Wednesday morning I got a mail that I may attend the program if I have a U.S Visa. Exactly it was 10 days before the program. The appointment was available only after 15 days. Immediately I sent a mail requesting for emergency appointment and I paid the Visa Fees in the Bank. It will take 48 hours for the fees to activate after which I have to schedule an appointment through the web site. If I schedule after two days I can get an appointment only after 20 days :). Wednesday evening the U.S embassy turned down my request for emergency appointment. I was dejected and the fees I paid is also merely waste. To my surprise, on Thursday evening I got a mail from Embassy that they have scheduled an appointment on Friday at 10.00 A.M. I prepared all the documents for Visa and some how managed to reach the embassy on time. Wow! I was granted a Visa. Even before the fees would have activated, I had a visa.
Then I spent some time on my project. As usual, I organized a lot of User Group and campus club meetings. I took technical sessions in other colleges. I think its enough for this post. Lets see whether I keep up my decision to blog regularly!
