Why look to the ME ? because it are in a unique position of going through a complete re-construction - which means they are revamping technology as well - from tele medicine to virtual classroom, and socially networked connunities, they are invensting in a new work culture, plus totally energy efficient green cities.

Korea i believe remains the first with a totally wired town, but the ME is taking that concept a lot further, with innovation at every level, from creating clusters like Knowledge City and Media City in Dubai, to the massive development in housing in Ajman.

My interest will be in the social wiring of these new communities and it would be interesting to chat with others who see Mesh and other business technologies now moving into the social sphere as well.
