Flex 2 goes free (and still no .NET support)
Via Jesse, the Flex 2 framework will be made available for free with Flex Builder 2 (Zorn) and Flex 2 ES avilable commerically (with Zorn being priced under a 1000 dollars). Beta 1 of all of these bits should be available from Adobe Labs (run by ex MSDN head honcho Sara Williams) today. Jesse feels this move is to compete with Laszlo, I think its also to let them compete with WPF as well. Still no word on when .NET support will appear in Flex if ever, that new year prediction is looking good.
