MbUnit is dead, says who?

Scott Hanselmans latest podcast is all about TDD, some great stuff in the cast. However, during the cast Scott mentions MbUnit and was unclear but suspected MbUnit was adandonware (his words), I wish Scott had asked on project status before his show.

So I will say this as strongly as I can, MbUnit is alive and well. Lots of folks are working very, very, very hard on MbUnit 2.3 and the next genertion of MbUnit in 3.0 is on the road. Since MbUnit went OSS 15 months ago its taken a lot of hard work to get the project to OSS, yet it's now fully functional as a OSS project and on the road to 2.3 and beyond.

I know Scott has been emailed with some of this info by folks on the project, hopefully Scott will update his listeners about this.

Hi Andrew, I was surprised to hear Scott say this, too. However, a developer I was interviewing recently mentioned that he had tried to download and check out MbUnit after I'd mentioned it, and couldn't figure out how to download it. The relationship between MbUnit and TD.NET is confusing and it's hard to get a clear understanding of where to go to get started with MbUnit by googling it right now.

Thanks for all your work on MbUnit. We use the heck out of it with Rhino Mocks and TD.NET and love it!

Cheers,

Luke
