i am intrested in down laoding a font to do negative space font like in your buiness card

i wantto be able to make my own signs for a model railroad and your site has the only example i can find of it. could you point me in the right direction where to find the font to do that?

i want a solid colour background and the letters to come out in white

could you tell me what font you used?

I'm a fine-arts major that somehow made it into .NET development. Sometimes people assume I know something about design, but they typically don't assume that for long =) I'm looking forward to this series!

I'm trying to improve my web design skills too. Over the weekend I will write a blog post about my latest effort with some very specific and detailed information. I hope you go beyond abstract principles because applying design to ASP.NET web controls can require a few hacks.

if so, you can stop with rule #1 couldn't you: If it's invisible why bother giving it a color?

You should have a hierarchy of visual attention grabbing elements.
