Welcome!

My name is Bipin Joshi and I am the founder and owner of BinaryIntellect Consulting, a company providing premier training for Microsoft .NET. I conduct training programs helping individuals learn Microsoft technologies better and faster. 

I am programming since 1995 and worked on variety of tools and technologies including C, C++, Clipper, FoxPro, VB, COM and ASP before embracing the .NET platform. I am working with .NET ever since its beta release in the year 2000.

My interest in developer community prompted me to start two community web sites dotnetbips.com and binaryintellect.net. They are popular amongst .NET developers for their useful articles and code samples. Weekly some new content gets added there. I also answer dozens of questions on the discussion forum of these web sites. Considering my community activities Microsoft selected me as a Most Valuable Professional (MVP). I am also a member of ASPInsiders.

Writing about .NET technologies interests me a lot. I am the author and publisher of Developer's Guide to ASP.NET 2.0 and co-author of Professional ADO.NET, Professional ADO.NET with VB.NET and Professional XML for .NET developers all from WROX press. I am columnist for the CodeTalk column of asp.netPro Magazine where I illustrate real world uses of ASP.NET with the help of sample applications.

Yoga is close to my heart. I am practicing Yoga since 1995 and studied many ancient texts such as Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Shiva Samhita, Gheranda Samhita, Yoga Chudamani Upanishad, Kundalini Upanishad, Yoga Shikhopanishad, Bhagvat Gita, Gyaneshwari and many more. Yoga has become a way of life for me. I believe that modern world can get tremendous benefits from it. I try to spread the message of Yoga through my blog at bipinjoshi.com. When away from computers I spend time in practicing and studying Yoga.
