How to determine when Windows started

Note to self (and anyone else interested)...

To determine when a Windows system was started, issue the following command from a command prompt:

net statistics server

also, if you run the command systeminfo one of the responces it gives you is system uptime. it gives you a lot more info too, but its handy.
