Hey Bill,

Would be careful with this one, I just did a quick test to confirm, but I think you will find that you still unghost the page...

The problem is that metadata is considered part of the Web Part Page, and thus it too get stored in the "Contents" column in the SITE database. Therefore changes to metadata cause the page to become unghosted. I really got caught out by this some time back, Maurice did a post on it here: http://www.bluedoglimited.com/SharePointThoughts/ViewPost.aspx?ID=170

Would be great if you could give it a quick test and confirm. Apart from that, as always, thanks for the blogs.
