About Casey Roach

I have been working with the .NET framework since 1.1 first came out, most notably with C# and Winforms.  After a 4 year hiatus where I was in the Marine Corps, I returned to a matured environment in which I had to quickly catch up or drown.  My new job required an understanding of ASP.NET and the newly emerging Ajax technology.  I quickly picked up on the ASP.NET stuff while continuing to refine my C# skills.  The AjaxControlToolkit had just been released, and I quickly started integrating the Client-side object idea into my controls.  Javascript was something I only knew a cursory amount about, but with the toolkit work I was doing, I quickly picked up on the Javascript intricacies that effect different browsers. 

I enjoy programming, music, and working on my new house.  I am a Software Developer for West Covina Service Group which makes RMS and CAD software for Police and Fire agencies in California and Nevada.
