.NET Rocks! Live now uses "Intelligent Streaming" ooooh.....

Up until now we have been broadcasting the shows live using 35K streams only. We just sucessfully tested (although not under stress) the intelligent streaming feature of Windows Media Services 9.0 in which the Media Player will automatically request lower and lower bandwidth versions of the stream until it finds one that works. When local bandwidth becomes more avialable it will adjust back up to normal, whatever that is.

Now there are two ways to access the live show:

Hi Carl,
Just noticed that the MP3s that you make available on the web site for download are in Stero. You might be able to save some size on those puppies by encoding then as mono instead of stereo. Worth a shot maybe... :)
