More free VB.NET talks by Carl Franklin - "Mini Code Camp Special Edition - VB.NET"
If you are going to be in the Boston area on Sunday, January 23, come to the Mini Code Camp Special Edition - VB.NET presented by Microsoft New England.
Thom Robbins and I decided to go for the gusto and get as many people as we can out to see what savvy developers can accomplish with VB.NET in a single day.
From the website: "The morning starts with a review of the fundamentals and the rest of the day expands on that to build a fully functional application that you can take with you! Come and learn best practices, coding techniques, database access, object oriented techniques and more for the VB.NET developer."
I anticipate this will be packed so it'd be a good idea to register ASAP.
I often get asked why I "give away" my training for free at these events. I don't see it that way. You can't reap the rewards of a 5-day hands-on class in a single day of lecture and demos. In fact, I get a lot of customers from doing events like this. They go see it in action and now they want to write the code in a helpful environment with a teacher like yours truly. What are they, nuts?
Well, anyway, you won't be disappointed, but get registered early!
See you there!
