This week Richard and I welcome Richard Costall and Andy Brown to share their experiences working on successful .NET projects in the United Kingdom.
Live participation instructions at http://www.franklins.net/calldotnetrocks
Mondays was recorded late Thursday evening and will be online Monday morning as usual.
First of all,
Chris Kinsman is our guest this week on .NET Rocks!:
Chris Kinsman drops in to talk about some of the projects he's been working on lately. Topics include data warehousing, SQL Integration Services, the recently released Patterns and Practices Enterprise Library, and a Compact Framework project to interface with slot machines! Cool stuff, indeed.

Secondly, regarding all this hubub about iTunes and our bandwidth: iTunes no longer lists our feeds for some reason, so we're back to .torrents in the podcast feeds, with one exception. The AAC podcast feed gives you the last 3 .m4b files, suitable for iTunes. We'll try to get that one listed again, or possibly create a new iTunes feed. If it wasn't 4 in the morning I'd be working on that right now.
What this means is more bandwidth for everyone. I hope we never have to go through that crap again. Get your act together, Apple!
And lastly, Mondays this week is spectacular. We've been away for a few weeks on a secret mission. You'll have to listen to find out what it is. As of this writing, Mondays is not online yet, but another hour of editing and it will be. If you're reading this after 5AM Eastern Time it's up and you can go get it.

This show will be historic.
So, out of the thousands of podcasts out there, both .NET Rocks! and Mondays have been nominated in their respective categories, and now it's time to vote for the best from the 5 nominations in each category. DNR is in the Technical category and Mondays is in the General cateogry.
Voting closes July 31, so if you haven't voted, vote now at www.podcastawards.com
Wouldn't that be a hoot if Mondays pulled the number one General spot!
Chris Kinsman will be our guest on DNR next week. The live show will be recorded Saturday, the 23rd at 6PM Eastern time.
Mondays will NOT be live on Saturday. Stay tuned for an update.

Hey
Rory,
I've asked the teeming millions to flame us. No takers. The most we get is a polite complaint. Can you please send us a real flame to show them how it's done?
Carl
