&lt;p&gt;You will probably have to write the SecurityToken to an string (and the opposite to read it), if you want to store it in a database or other kind of cache different from memory.&lt;/p&gt;

This implementation only works if the client application knows how to talk WS-Trust (That could be WCF or any other implementation). &lt;/p&gt;
