Octane (aka Borland Delphi .NET) has been presented in Germany

Stéphane Jouanneau announced on DotNET-fr (sorry, it's in French) that Octane - aka Delphi .NET - has been presented by Davin Intersimone and Anders Ohlsson during the "Entwickler Konferenz" in Munich, Germany. There's also some information here in English. It was a sneak preview, but it showed the ease of porting a VCL based Delphi programs to .NET. This tool will be publically presented during the BorCon 2003 which will take place in the US, in Europe (Amsterdam) and in Paris, France, in November and December.

I wonder why so few people on the blogs seem to be interested in what Borland is doing in the .NET space.

[Update] There was no less than 21 Delphi.NET sessions and 15 C# sessions at the "Entwickler Konferenz": I cannot believe that no one has blogged about it.

I, like Andrew and some others, are very interested in the CLR, Rotor and things Borland are doing. Unfornately, in my opinion, many people on ASPWeblogs can't see beyond ASP.NET and VB and their posts reflect that (not you). Keep posting this info.

I'm also intrested, not only about borland. ASPWeblogs are becoming a bit boring with all PDC,Longhorn and only MSFT stuff.
