You want to try Mono, preferably on Linux but you don't want to spend hours installing and configuring the all stuff? Thanks to Jon Galloway, you just have to download an ISO image of Monoppix, burn it on a blank CD-R and boot. Monoppix is a bootable Linux distribution based on Knoppix which includes Mono, XSP and MonoDevelop: it runs directly from the CD and installs nothing on your harddisk. The ISO image is a 404 Mb download.
I must admit that even being a former Linux guy (Debian rUl3Z!), before I "Swallowed the Pill", I tend to get lazy installing and configuring Linux distros. This will be very handy for me. Download in progress... ;)
