*P to ASP.NET Migration Assistant Beta

The ASP.NET Team released two alpha migration assistants to speed up project migration from classic ASP and PHP to ASP.NET in October 2003, and there's a migration guide from JSP to ASP.NET published in December 2003 too. Well, they never stop... the code migration assistants are in BETA now.

I'd like to have some feedbacks from the people who gave the PHP converter a try. my first tests were not that positive. See here:

After trying out the PHP convertor i'm convinced you're better of re-writing the site with codebehind then having the convertor do it =/

It's a shame require doesn't work, all your include paths are wrong. I tried converting a static html page that only uses includes as a header and footer and i couldn't get it to work, everywhere there was an echo, it caused 'newline found'

But even if it worked, i would prefer recoding, because everything gets converted to inline code it doesn't look nice, maybe if the convertor was able to do codebehind? :p
