Spanned Monitors

Compared with my desktop (screen) this morning... It's a big jump for me - at least, the displays are consolidated (spanned). :o)

PC Conslidation

I don't know why my desk is so messy and I can never make it clean & tidy!

All mouse, keyboard, power cord... blah blah mixed together... Fortunately, I have ONE Usb thumb to store everything centrally.

I have to check or upgrade my MaxiVista license soon.

Display Different Time Zones in Desktop

In my day job, I have to work with various teammates across New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and China all the times, and the difference of time zone is just beautiful. We can work like 24x7 without break. However, the time difference always give confusion to us (or only me? PST, EST or Hong Kong Time?)

Therefore, I need a tool to display and show me the time and schedule in different time zones. I'm pretty sure I saw few demos and tiny app does this, and I also know that Vista have the ability to display various clocks (on the side bar (or it's called Gadget?) but I'm looking for something that must be very light and able to work without connection.

I used TimeAndDate.com and the scheduling ability in Outlook in the past, and it work nice for my cross-boundary scheduling, but none of these show me the precise time especially when I'm connection-less...

Thanks Nam, who are an advanced IT Pro and he recommended a lite tool to me - MS Time Zone. It just sit in the task bar silently and pretty small in size (It cost me 6Mb memory as shown in the Task Manager). What's your choice? Which one do you like most? :)

First Try of Writely

I like to create or edit doc online and the whole idea of mobile Office. I just register in the Writely site and I'm happy with it.

Functions like upload a Doc file, share a Doc with others, invite someone to view/edit my Doc...etc, all of these features are very nice and similar to G-Spreadsheets. Moreover, I like the features like Tagging of Doc and Publish post to my Blog!
