VS.NET Nov CTP... Wow! "I want my MTV"... Sorry, GoLive license...

(Sorry for the 80s reference. Was watching Poltergeist the other day, I'm stuck in the wrong decode/century/mellenium)

I've been working with the Nov CTP (as opposed to the DEC CTP, since the Dec CTP is an older framework, and primarily focused on the Team Development stuff, it would appear)

I have to say, this is an impressive product. It's come a long way in the last few months, and while it's still got rough edges, it's becoming quite the product... I dread going back to VS 2003. Well, not quite dread, but still... So, I must say, I look forward to the merging of the code branches so that I can get VS.NET 2005 Ent Architect Beta 2 with the Go Live license, and start releasing some exciting new products <grin>

hey Chris,

have you been getting bitten with the "Find in Files" crash in the Nov CTP?

i filed a bug on it, but it came back "not repro". this happens daily to me, but i can't find any exact repro steps.

i totally agree about going back to VS2003. the 1000x better Intellisense is the one thing i really miss when going back.

thx,
Kirk

Kirk,
No, I've not managed to come across this bug.

I did manage to reproduce my other bug, the one from my little Nov > Dec fiasco. Well, MS had already marked it as unrepro-ed in newer builds, but I sent the crash report as requested, and reopened the bug. Waiting on a reply. <grin>
