Tivo - Irony is thy name
I was playing around with TivoToGo last night (I requested priority upgrade, and mercilessly connected to Tivo until they gave me the upgrade), and got a quite a shock this morning after transferring a show down (Across?, I guess it would be up since the office is above the den :) )
On a (largely) default Windows XP box, with no special video software or codecs, I can view the recordings just fine, but I can't fast-forward, rewind, or change the location of playback in anway. I feel like I'm watching network television. <grin>
