Ok, I want my GMail account and I want it now.

On my other blog I posted a few weeks ago about my frustrations with CitiBank protecting me from myself by deactivating my account when certain suspicious purchases are made.  I finally got around to calling them today, and it turned out the “suspicious purchase” was my annual $20 purchase to Yahoo! Mail for extra storage.  This “suspicious activitiy” (that I've charged every year for the last 3) prevented me from using the card for the last 3 weeks, mind you I could have called them earlier to reactivate me.

I've signed up for the beta (is that what it is?) of Google's GMail, but I haven't gotten my invitation yet.  I've also signed up for the I want GMail Wiki, but no dice yet there either.  If anyone reading this has the power to get me a GMail invitation, I would be very grateful.
