&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;I was&amp;nbsp;passing along the announcement about the training classes that I received from developer evangelist Zain Naboulsi, I&amp;#39;ll check&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;him and see if the May CTP is ok.&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;I&amp;#39;m being told that the labs may or may not work with the May CTP, but no promises.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Something like this:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;private void MyMethod&amp;lt;T&amp;gt;(IList&amp;lt;T&amp;gt; genericList) where T : MyBaseClass {...}&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You&amp;#39;d still get access to all the methods of your base class and avoid a lot of gyrations.&lt;/p&gt;
