Dan Appleman's latest PDF eBook "Exploring .NET Volume 1"

Ijust recieved this notification from Amazon.com.  Luckily I didn't delete it without looking.  I was very impressed with Dan's great book on Regular Expressions, and the Obfuscation book was interesting too, if not a bit beyond my skills at the current time.

I have been a fan of Dan's writing for years.

Another great publication to check-out is his PDF <a href-"http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000632ZU/qid=1047879215/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/102-2827150-1796957?v=glance&s=books&n=507846">eBook on Regular Expressions.</a>

Having dabbled a bit with Regex in my Perl/CGI days, I appreciated his straight-forward approach to teaching the topic for .NET.

I am currently very underemployed, and am looking for VB. Net (education and) employment. Your books are a part of my seeking out an appropriate job. Since I just paid about $15 for "Regular Expressions" on Amazon, I'm wondering if I could get a couple of ebooks without charge ( I have to admit, I was expecting a little more literary satisfaction than 70-odd pages). I bought the VS. Net package, am chomping at the bit to sell some software (Handango, hopefully), and am, frankly, politically bent so as to sing the praises of anyone who helps me (if you've heard of *Angie's List* you'll know what I mean).

Just curious, and figured it never hurts to ask.

Thanks!

Janis
