But then the big hammer came crashing down on my dreams. How can I concatenate forms in such a way as that the subsequent forms dynamically change based on entries in the previous forms? Of course, I can make trips to the database and back, but what if subsequent forms invalidate or change previous entries? Adding the dynamics to forms is close to impossible unless I use some scripting. And for that PHP and MySQL are way more powerful as some clicked together form. That really was a disappointment.

Went through it last week, sample by sample. Some cool and helpful stuff there, for sure, but it didn't change the issues I had with the UI and development support.
