I received this comment by Frans : obviously you've never looked at the code it actually produces. :) If a person wants deeper insight in what n-tier development is, how to start etc, I'd suggest that person should check out some examples for the .NET...

If you are a newbie with N-Tier achitecture, .Net and visual Studio, it's quite a challenge to find a good example on the subject. You should try NTierGen . The tool is a bit expensive, but you have eventually a trial version, just limited to three tables...
