DevConnections Spring 2007
Just back home from DevConnections Spring 2007--yet another excellent installment of the Premiere independent developer conference. I've been speaking at this conference for six years now and I've seen and experienced good and bad times. And I'm really enjoying the very good time of today. For me, it's like meeting up with a bunch of friends twice a year on East and West coast. It's great to recognize attendees year after year or when they come by and say something like 'Hey Dino, I enjoyed your sessions last year'. And immediately prove themselves right by listing exactly the sessions I had the year before.
This year I think it was even better, personally and professionally.
I'll be honest. Thankfully, it's fairly common for me to receive good feedback. Too common that sometimes I tend to let it go almost unnoticed. When I ran the AJAX pre-con on Sunday, for example, many attendees had a special light of sincere enthusiasm in their eyes. True or false, that was my raw impression and it made me feel just great--whether it was for my presentation or just ASP.NET AJAX. Either way it's OK. So I feel like I have to say a big THANK YOU to all of you.
And a monumental THANK YOU to the DevConnections staff for making it happen. And being great.
