Developer Job Openings At Mimeo
What's the Deal?
We have two job openings for developers here at Mimeo. So far the only thing we can find using headhunter agencies (which I hate using btw) are the usual junior developers who have too little general development experience and only rudimentary .NET experience. I know there have to be some “good”, qualified people out there looking for an exciting job opportunity like this, so I'm casting a line via this post in the hopes that I'll catch the big fish that we're looking for.
About the Jobs
One of the openings is down at our Memphis office and the other will be here in the New York City office (where I am located). You should consider yourself a mid to senior range .NET developer and meet the following criteria:
- Experience with general development techniques such as writing unit tests, using source control, writing basic API documentation, following standards guidelines, etc. are a must.
- Experience working on ASP.NET enterprise applications, working with ADO.NET against a SQL server database is a must.
- Experience with P/Invoke and/or COM interop is a plus.
- Experience working with an ORM package is a plus.
- Experience with writing WinForms applications, traditional or smart-client, is a plus.
- Experience with writing Web Services, specifically knowledge of SOAP, WSDL, and WS-* specifications is a big plus.
- Experience with advanced development techniques such as design patterns, refactoring, test first programming, continuous integration, etc. is a big plus.
About Our Team
We've pretty much had the same core development team since the company started in 1999. We're a small, tight knit bunch that like to challenge and educate each other on a daily basis. This is a genuine opportunity to join our team and partake in the design and development process during an evolutionary step for the company.
Here's Your Chance
If you think you meet the criteria listed above and are interested in such a position, please contact Craig Jacobs with your resumé to get the ball rolling. Good luck!
