Daily .NET exercise regime
Back in the murky, muddy days known as “early .NET” I was highly active on the various forums and newsgroups as I stretched myself to learn of my surroundings in this new world. For the past 18 months or so though, I've really backed off to the point where I'm really only active on a couple of regex lists.
With new versions of VB and C# slated for next year some time, I've decided that it's time to up my “languages” noise level again to ensure that I'm staying on top of my learning curve. I've started by resuming my ASPAdvice subscription for the C# and VB lists.
Although I tend to read articles to keep abreast of the higher-level chunks of information, I've found that, pushing myself to answer 2 or 3 questions per week helps to keep me focussed and ensures that my skills are kept up to scratch at a much finer level. It's all about being agile!
