New Msdn style

I travelled by http://msdn.microsoft.com/ today and noticed that the styles have changed.  The site now has a much “lighter” feel to it; much more of a “stylesheet look” than an “images look” - if that makes sense :-)

I'd love to know how big of an effort it is to make something like that happen on a site as big as that.  Is it as easy as Duncan and Kent having a coffee and saying “Let's change the stylesheet on our webpage; We'll flip to see who gets to name the css class names”?

- I doubt it somehow!

LOL, I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday when I noticed the style change.

You'd think someone at sometime at microsoft would realize that while IE uses margins for lists, Netscape uses padding. It seems every page on the Microsoft site fails to set both of them. It's like it is official policy to screw up the padding. (cue the x-files music)
