Good article. I didn't see anything about handling Postbacks, though. You didn't mention that in ASP.Net you can't use "Pure" HTML5 inputs directly in postbacks because you can't build them with "asp:" tags. If you need the postback events, you need to have a custom control to render these. If your readers are interested, I have created an open-source suite of HTML5 ASP.Net inputs and controls including the postback and setup with parameters.
