Well i will. I think software development is best learned by book and trial and error. I took it in college and when i took it the first time the book was crappy and the reference online helped me only so much. I got a D i was like hell no, this can't be happening. So i went to the professor and he recommended a great work. Guess what! Got an A. With the good book, things made more sense, and i can read a book for a longer period of time than a screen. Althought i can play a pc game for hours ;)

So there you have it. You are right.

re: My Clickety IBM Keyboard - RIP

Hi. I just got a brand new IBM Model M in the mail. They still sell them out there you know. Yes this keyboard rocks. Yes i am typing this on this keyboard right now. Man this is a rock solid keyboard. Now i actually want to type for fun. I have heard great things about the newer ones, but i decided to go for the classic IBM Model M from 1980's. This one is a 1988 model. Viva Model M!

Book review: Customizing the Microsoft .NET Framework Common Language Runtime « Hungry for Knowledge

PingBack from http://sdesmedt.wordpress.com/2006/10/20/book-review-customizing-the-microsoft-net-framework-common-language-runtime/

I have lost about 60lbs, and last week it fell of during a hike in the woods. I wasn't hoping to put my weight back on, but wanted to make sure I kept it off before I had the ring resized.

Like you, the ring was not so expensive, but it did carry quite a bit of memories and symbolism.

Good Luck. If anyone finds it I am sure they will attempt to return it.

re: Bitten by the Windows Explorer Search Bug (err, "Feature") again.

Does anyone know if Microsoft know (or even care) about the myriad of failings in explorer.exe (probably one of the flakiest bits of Microsoft code ever.)
