David Stone's Blog

I'm open to suggestions for a subtitle here! (Really!)

What will they think of next?

The folks at Microsoft Research always have really interesting stuff. Take for instance:

MSBNx, which is a "component-based Windows application for creating, assessing, and evaluating Bayesian Networks."

This looks very interesting. Not only does it let you create your model, it will perform tests on it and show probability ratios/etc.

Actually that's a terrific idea. One can use BNs for email spam-catching amongst other things.
