Merging Messenger

A friend just pointed me to the MSN Messenger page and asked where the Windows Messenger for XP went. It would seem from the http://messenger.msn.com page that the folks over on the Messenger team have decided to ditch having two separate products. So now it's time for everybody to upgrade to MSN 6. :)

Not so....try starting Whiteboard under MSN 6. It'll tell you that you need to upgrade your version of Windows Messenger.

No. There will be two different versions. However, they will differentiate themselves. MSN Messenger will be the consumer friendly one and Windows Messenger will be the corp friendly one.
