Interesting Articles...

I've been swamped with Physics(Electricity & Magnetism...blech) and Calculus over the past few weeks. However, I've still managed to get some work done, and while I've not been actively participating in anything, I have been lurking. Anyway, here are some interesting articles I've read over the last few weeks I thought I'd share with everybody:

I don't know much about these, other than there great ways to hide things, but from what I understand the MacOS filesystem makes use of these and so they're there for compatability. I don't know much else about them. I do know that only applications that know about them can use them. Por ejemplo,

echo blah1 > test.txt
echo blah2 > test.txt:hide
type test.txt <--- this shows blah1
type test.txt:blah2 <----- this give an error

There are tools out there to examine a file for alternative data streams. I'm would imagine virus scanners have to do this too.
