MSDN Subscription Help...
First off, I'd like to say that it's almost impossible to find this page: http://microsoft.na.subservices.com/msdn/default.asp
It's not anywhere on the sidebar menu. Instead you have to click on “Manage Your Subscription” and then scroll all the way down the page and click on the “In North America” link. I spent about 10 minutes trying to find it. Maybe I'm just blind, but I couldn't find it for the longest time.
Anyway, my real issue is this:
I let my MSDN Subscription lapse for a few months there between November and the beginning of this month. Then, the company decided to get it through our Select Agreement. So I did the whole “upgrade/renew” thing...or so I thought. Anyway, a few days after I registered the subscription, I received the new pack and everything. Nice new DVD binder, bunch of DVDs, etc. Not anywhere did I see the little green member card...but I noticed the list of stuff said that some things were backordered. A few days later, I get another box...this contained all the stuff that was backordered. But still, no card. So I just shoved the old one into my new binder thinking I'd keep it just in case.
Well, I finally went to call MSDN the other day to figure out why my Whidbey and Longhorn disks never got here. (I did order them before the subscription lapsed, right after the PDC...there's no reason why they shouldn't be here.) I realized, though, that I didn't have my subscriber ID number. I've been searching around for the darn thing and I still can't find it. I don't have any boxes from MSDN and I can't seem to find it anywhere on the site. I signed in to the aforementioned page with my old subscriber ID number and it shows the last disk shipment in October.
Any help here on what I should do? I could wait for my next shipment, but I really want to start working with Whidbey now (the only reason I didn't get around to it earlier is that I've been swamped with work).
