Code from my DevConnections Talks and Workshop

Thanks to everyone who attended my sessions at DevConnections Las Vegas. I had a great time meeting new people, discussing business problems and solutions and interacting. Here’s the code and slides for the sessions.  For those that came to the full-day Silverlight workshop I’ve included the slides that didn’t get printed plus a ton of code to help you get started with various Silverlight topics.

  • Great Job at the conference. Very much liked your presentation style and obviosly your knowledge. Lots to learn and see. Thanks for the material.

  • Kurt,

Thanks for coming and glad you enjoyed the sessions. I appreciate it.

  • Thanks for the materials and the presentations in Vegas. They were very helpful. I did have issues opening these two files, it said it did not recognize them as valid archives:

'Silverlight Data Integration Options and Usage Scenarios' and 'Silverlight Workshop Code'

  • Mike,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with the files. I haven't had anyone complain about them at this point and just tried them again without issue so I'm guessing you may need to try a different zip program. I use the built-in Windows 7 one as well as 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org). If you haven't tried re-downloading them already you might try that again as well. Hope that works for you.

  • Excellent materials and presentations Dan. You and Shawn Wildermuth really helped give a kickstart to our Silverlight development efforts. My company has been waiting for Silverlight to be "ready" for our apps and I'm happy to say that with the additions Silverlight4 has brought to the table our first Silverlight application is already in QA.

  • Thanks Kyle...glad you enjoyed the talks and that your application is progressing so nicely.
