Godfather Trivia

I was watching the "extras" DVD that came with the Godfather trilogy set and learned a bunch of new things. One of the cool things about being the director is that you can put all sorts of Easter eggs, etc, into the movie. Noodle this one for a while:

In Godfather I, the last act of the movie centers around the baptism of Michael's nephew, with Michael being the Godfather. The baby used in the scene is Sophia Copolla, Francis Ford Copolla's daughter. Then, in Godfather III, Sophia Copolla plays Michael's daughter and hooks up with her first cousin, who is actually the full grown version of the baby she played in the first movie.

She's also in the second movie, but it's just as an uncontroversial extra.

You are wrong about one thing. Vincent Mancini is not Connie's son who was being Baptised in GF1. He is Sonny's son who was given birth to by Lucy Mancini. By the way, in the book, Lucy never got pregnant from Sonny.

During the arguments between kay and michael in a hotel room in GF2...kay told michael that there is something wrong with their son anthony...and michael says he doenst want to hear that? what was it? what was wrong with anthony? is this had to do with why anthony was not considered by michael as his successor? why do they need another son, does this mean that anthony cant handle the don thing?

The word that was intentionally left out was "Mafia." I don't remember Kay saying there was something wrong with Anthony. I think what Michael didn't want to hear was that Kay was leaving him.

regarding what is wrong with anthony:
Kay says that his playmates are Michael's button men. That line is delivered at the same time and covered up by Michael yelling.

The "five families" in the GF are Corleone, Tataglia, Barzini, Stracci, and Cunio. The five families in real life are Bonnano, Columbo, Gambino, Genovese, and Luccese.

Does anyone know wheree the actual place is that Michael and Apollonia walk when they are chaperoned by Apollonia's entire family.

Answers such as Sicily won't do.  GPS or google earth co-ordinates would be great.

I don't actullay know, but I am going to Sicily in 1 month and I would like to visit there.

Thanks

Jas
